You are the ultimate owner of your life and your health. This proactive approach may be a new way to think about your health. Many of us are used to thinking about our health only when we are sick. Whole-person health and well-being means understanding what your life goals are and what contributes to your sense of wellness over time. It also means understanding what lifestyle factors and behaviors help to achieve these goals and to meet life’s gifts and challenges with health and vitality.
Being in the driver’s seat requires a good map. It is important to know your starting point and your destination – this means know what your health is like now and what you would like your health to be going forward. In creating a map, you can plan for your health in a way that best fits your unique life and goals.
In this 6-session series, you will partner with a Duke Integrative Health Coach as a guide on your journey. The group support, experiential activities, and tools offered in this program provide a safe space for you to explore and achieve your health and wellness goals.
