Mastering the Mind-Body Toolkit: Learning to Lead Others in Mind-Body Practices for Stress Management and Resiliency

Learn to lead mind-body practices to deepen stress resiliency for clients and colleagues. There are many ways we can help others to build resources for resiliency, retrain our brains to respond to stress and adversity in positive ways, and develop a core of wellbeing to support a lifetime of health and happiness.

This three-day experiential course geared towards professionals is designed to be a practical, hands-on combination of information, skills practice, and guided discussion. Lunch will be provided each day of the course.

As a participant in the course, you will:

  • Acquire the skills needed to effectively communicate and lead mind-body practices with others
  • Explore your own current dimensions of stress and resiliency
  • Learn practical, easy-to-use tools to support your adaptive response to stress
  • Practice mind-body techniques that reverse the physiologic stress response and induce the relaxation response naturally and easily
  • Identify personal health resiliency goals and action steps

Target Audience:

This course is designed for healthcare providers and other professionals who work with clients on health behaviors that support overall health and lead others in mind-body practices for stress management and resiliency. These professionals may include: physicians; nurses; mental health providers; educators; health coaches; and anyone who is interested in leading others in mind-body practices for stress management and resiliency.

NOTE:  All target audience members are eligible to receive continuing education credit upon successful completion of this course.  Please note: this course does not issue certificates of attendance and does not award partial credit continuing education credit certificates for partial attendance.
