Research & Medical Education Medical EducationFaculty Development The Bravewell Fellowship Duke Integrative Medicine offers The Bravewell Fellowship award as a faculty development opportunity available to Duke physicians and mid-level clinicians. Through the generosity of the Bravewell Collaborative in partnership with the University of Arizona Program in Integrative Medicine, recipients of this award have the opportunity to receive 2000 hours of instruction of a two-year distance learning curriculum. Three weeks are spent on-site in Arizona and the clinical experience is through Duke Integrative Medicine. The scholarship award covers the full cost of tuition for the program. Awards are made on a two year cycle. Duke has been fortunate to have 5 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner trained through this program. An additional 3 physicians make up our current class of Bravewell Fellows scheduled to graduate in 2010. 2010 Bravewell Fellows:
