Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you must withdraw from class, requests for withdrawal must be submitted in writing to Delores Austin (

) by 5 pm the business day before the second class date. You will be charged a 10% administration fee for processing your cancellation. Any class materials you received must be returned in good condition to your instructor, or mailed at your expense, within 10 days of your notification to cancel. Refunds will not be processed until materials have been received. If you paid by check or cash please allow a minimum of 30 days to receive your refund check. If you paid by credit card please allow 5 business days after receipt of your materials to credit your account. Please note that all financial transactions are completed at the end of an MBSR class cycle and do not transfer to a future cycle. If you wish to enroll in a future cycle, you will be required to pay the entire fee. Class fees are subject to change without notice; however, they will not change within any given cycle.

In case of severe weather or the threat of severe weather, please call the MBSR program office at 919-684-9811 for an updated message on whether or not class will be held that day. We will make every effort to update our phone message by 9 a.m. on the affected day. Back-Up Plan: If you are unable to get through to our office or we have been unable to update the message, our back-up plan is to use the closing schedule of the Durham Public Schools as our guide&mdashthat is, if the Durham Public Schools are closed for weather reasons then our classes will also be cancelled. Listed to WTVD (Channel 11), WDNC (620 AM) o WCHL (1360 AM) for school closings or check the WRAL website for information about the Durham schools. Even if classes are still scheduled to meet, use your own discretion regarding travel and road conditions. Please be safe! About the Program
