Healing Yoga for Back and Neck Pain
Join Instructor Carol Krucoff to learn simple, effective yoga practice designed to relieve back and neck pain, plus strategies to help enhance overall health. Each 90-minute class will include a short educational component, plus a complete yoga practice including stress-reduction techniques and relaxation. The gentle yoga practice will teach you proper sitting and standing posture, and will also focus on releasing tension, stretching and strengthening your body, relaxing your mind and lifting your spirit. No yoga experience required.
Transform Your Health: Write to Heal
During this 6-week workshop, John Evans will coach participants through a simple
progression of exercises he has developed from his more than 25 years of working in
the field. Participation requires neither any prior writing experience nor any aspiration
to become a writer. In fact, the practices simply cultivate your natural and easy ability to
express the ideas that define who you are and how you experience your life. Participants
will receive a journal in the first class to begin their transformative journey.
Mindfulness Retreat: The Courage of Self Compassion
In this retreat, we will practice with what it is to bring compassionate awareness to ourselves, moment by moment, in the busy-ness of daily life. We will cultivate the qualities of courage, kindness, generosity, and forgivness that nourish the flowering of self compassion.
Daily Classes & Workshops
Our daily classes and workshops are open to the public for a nominal fee on a per class basis. These classes cover a range of activities and topics including movement (Yoga, Pilates), self-care, mindfulness, healthy cooking, and more. Annual members have full access to these classes, free of charge.
