Transform Your Health: Write to Heal
During this 6-week workshop, John Evans will coach participants through a simple
progression of exercises he has developed from his more than 25 years of working in
the field. Participation requires neither any prior writing experience nor any aspiration
to become a writer. In fact, the practices simply cultivate your natural and easy ability to
express the ideas that define who you are and how you experience your life.
This day and a half retreat will introduce you to the practice of mindfulness. Through guided practice and discussion, we will practice with what it is to bring compassionate awareness to ourselves, moment by moment, in the busy-ness of daily life.
Changing From Within: Mindful Eating
When you bring close attention to your mind, body and behaviors, you begin to observe the subtleties of your eating patterns. The information, skills training, and group support of this program will guide you in making lifestyle changes that will help you respond in a healthier way, resulting in a healthy weight that you can maintain over time.
Daily Classes & Workshops
Our daily classes and workshops are open to the public for a nominal fee on a per class basis. These classes cover a range of activities and topics including movement (Yoga, Pilates), self-care, mindfulness, healthy cooking, and more.
